The Completion Story Thread

Well, after 172 hours of fun and torture (the Crystal Cruiser quest, mainly), I have finally beaten the game. I have won with every ship and layout on normal and gotten all the achievements. This is not meant as a bragging thread; rather I wanted to tell some interesting facts about my time with FTL as we wait for Advanced Edition next year. I'd also like to hear about your stories of completing the game, or your struggles to complete it as it might be
Some interesting stuff about my games:
My last achievement was Clash of the Titans (kill 15 Rock Ships in the Crystal Cruiser).
I have probably played more Rock A and B combined then all the other ships put together (thanks for nothing, Crystal Cruiser).
My highest scoring run on the Rock A is a loss.
I beat both of the Slug Cruisers on my first run with each, and have never played them since.
My top five scores are:
Mantis A - 4955
Rock A - 4575 (Yes my second highest score ever is the loss I mentioned above)
Rock A - 4565
Zoltan A - 4463
Slug B - 4395 (My only run with this ship as mentioned above).
My worst run still on the high score board is with Federation A, with 178 points! I only played the ship three times.
Well time to take a break for now... until Advanced Edition sucks me back in, of course.
