Asteroids stop hitting if the ship surrenders

Let's say you're in combat in an asteroid field and the enemy ship offers to surrender. If they do, asteroids stop hitting them. They don't stop hitting you, however.

Yes. The other ship is effectivly taken out of the picture, but you are still in the asteroid field. If you think about it, the fact that the enemy surrendered is no reason for asteroids to stop being a threat to you. You have to survive the onslaught and get out of there, even if you won the battle. You get a reward for the surrender.

It's left over from when we didn't want the enemy ship exploding and providing a reward after a surrender, thus allowing the player to double dip. As that's no longer possible anyway, I could go back to make sure the enemy ship is capable of being destroyed by environment effects, though it would be purely cosmetic :)

It's very satisfying to set an enemy ship up so that it explodes from fire after you kill its crew. Cosmetic changes can be quite fun. And it would slightly increase the chances of having your boarding crew killed after a fight. Also, if you hadn't fixed that it would have been possible to triple dip: Once for surrender, twice when fire/vacuum kills the crew, and thrice when the fire causes the ship to explode.
