Engine Power Question

I am making a mod that has low max shields (lv 3) but has better engines, But when I tested it with more that 8 lvs of engines it went back to 5% dodge is this hardcoded in, or can I make it higher then 35% dodge?

Bug. Whether or not it is deliberate is unknown, if I'm not mistaken - but there is no known fix. Sorry.

Its possible. If in the blueprint of the ship u have engines power="6" you will have available 6 engine bars, it should work ok.. about the dogde probability, yes, it should be 30% with 6 engine power bars if i remember right. There is no bug at all...

I know that with 8 power in engines its 35% dodge but 9 power makes it back to 5% so is this hardcoded?

Yes, this is hardcoded; and no, it's not a bug - it's an effect of a system that was not created with modding in mind.

Yup, the maximum power level on engines is 8. If you want more dogde chance, u need cloak and pilot.
