I've come across an apparently new problem. Starting up the game, it will load, but at the end of the loading screen, a pop-up from "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library" says, "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information." The only option is to close the pop-up, and the game closes. I'm running it through Steam, using Windows 7 Ultimate, and could not find a crash log. I've tried re-installing the game, with no luck. I've also updated my video card (Radeon HD 5800) to no avail.

In short, the profile was corrupted, and needs to be manually deleted. Sadly, this means all progress, scores and achievements are lost. However, there is a fix for that, too!
