This is probably a really dumb question but how do I update my FTL if I bought it through paypal? Does is update automagically?

It does not matter much which system you used to pay, but it matters very much which web site you got it from

- The official FTL web site?
- The Good Old Games (GoG) web site?
- Steam?

Each has a unique way to update FTL.

- Steam does it automatically
- GoG... I don't know, it has some kind of installer
- The official FTL web site... does not update automatically. You have to use the download link that was sent to you by email, and there you can download the latest version and install it.

GoG updates the installers for their games from time to time. If you log in, they do tell you which games have been updated, but you do need to download them again.

I used the official website and have checked all my different emails. I can't find my product key in any of them!

You can fill this form with the email address you used to purchase the game, and it should send you the download page link again.

I have done this with many email's but they never seem to work! It says that I did not use this email for buying the preduct even though I did. I have tried this with many emails and none are succesful?!

When did you buy the game? Maybe you still have your download link in your browser's history?

I went through my browser history and found the download page. Thx fr the help guys.

Save that address somewhere, you don't know when you will need it again.
