Update! Now with a custom muzzle flash... I might create a mod which gives all the vanilla weapons unique muzzle flashes (something that was absent from FTL).

i'm totally gonna pretend i was the first one who did that and inspired a whole new era of muzzleflash-ness
though i honestly can't remember if anyone did it before me or not, it is likely someone would have by now...

if you are going to add muzzleflash, i strongly suggest leaving some space behind the gun so that the centred gun image in the weapon box (like you see in the hangar/cargo) appears correctly placed, instead of shunted off to the side

Thanks man. I just noticed the weapon is off centered in the weapon box. I'll definitely add space behind the gun.
