[Linux] Hotkeys on non-US keyboard layouts

Hello,

when a non-US keyboard layout is set (mine is Czech-qwertz), hotkeys does not work (e.g. 12345 keys are mapped as special czech characters). The game should scan key codes rather than characters generated by the system I guess.

Fortunately it is possible to remap the keys in the options so it is working (the game uses stange strings like "WORLD 45" etc for these keys).

But the major issue is - when I have a screen with a question (one or more options), keys 12345 do not work for me. The only way to answer questions is using mouse and this is very annoying. Can this be fixed at least?

Otherwise the game works PERFECTLY on Fedora 18 64bit Linux. Excellent work! Thank you. Looking forward datadiscs or maybe multiplayer :-) :P

Do you have a regular large keyboard, or a laptop keyboard? With a bigger keyboard, you should be able to use the keypad to input the numbers.

I also run FTL under Linux with a French keyboard, and answering questions is indeed a (small) bother. :)

Yeah I will try keypad, but it bothers :-) These keys are meant for speed and moving my hand is not ideal. Hopefully guys will fix this. No biggie, but annoying.

I'll look into it. Sorry about the inconvenience :(
