[Request] Mantis ship type B switch with Kestrel Cruiser

Can someone switch these two ships. I can not figure out how to use FTL game editor for some reason. Help please.
1. unpack the .dat files (use ftldat)
2. browse the unpacked files to data folder and open blueprints.xml (with notepad)
3. create a file called blueprints.xml.append in a separate location, open it with notepad
4. copy the <shipBlueprint> entry all the way to </shipBlueprint> for both of the ships you want to swap from the .xml into the .append
5. swap the PLAYER_SHIP_SHIPNAME part of the shipblueprint on both entries
6. make a zip file, inside it put a folder "data", put your .append inside that
7. rename the .zip extension to .ftl
8. move the .ftl file into GMM's mods folder and patch it in with GMM
i may have missed some minor steps but that's the general steps to do what you want
