Trouble WIth Grognaks

I cant get the folder to install mods or the gmm.command thing to show up. Help? (note: I already followed the given instructions, and Im using mac)
- Download GMM 1.7.0 for Mac/Linux: Link.
- If what I've read is correct, OSX should be able to extract the archive
when you double-click "Grognaks Mod Manager v1.7 Manix.tar.gz". - You should end up with a folder named "Grognaks Mod Manager v1.7 Manix", which contains modman.command.
- Double-click modman.command and describe what you see next.
