Hi, I just started a new game with the rock cruiser type B.

In the first sector I get an event, which tells me something about thiefs running off with a ship with important cargo. I have several options, one of them blue like "I can kill the crew with fire bombs and return the goods".

So I enter the quest marker and start firebombing the whole ship, but nothing happens, after a while I can see while the fire bomb is teleported, that all the crewmen are rock! Now how the hell can I kill rockmen (immune to fire) with firebombs? So I shot the ship down, there was a massive explosions and i lost about 20 hullm with a text like "you should have killed the crew, dumbo".

Again, if there's a blue option "kill the crew with firebombs", don't put rockmen on the ship, that's just stupid.

Just had the event again, this time a human crew and I killed them with ease, see the link for the event.

I still think removing the chance of rockmen as crew is important here.

Suffocation.

Depends on what other gun you had and how well you can distract the crew around the ships, this may require a few or a lot of missiles...

Not really possible, it was sector 1. I had (on the rock type B) the "Heavy Pierce I", but the enemy ship was pretty weak, so it was destroyed pretty easily.

Still not the point, if there's an option to "burn them" and crew is immune to fire, that doesn't make any sense...
