[SHIP v1.1] YTR-1335 Burnout (Engi C) Now MORE BALANCED! :D

The YTR-1335 Burnout v1.1
Developed by NATAR Weapons Development Division for the sole purpose of burning out enemy crews. v1.1 deletes the fire drone.


MESSAGE TO ALL: I may not be able to get on the forum a lot in the next few months, so sorry if I don't reply for a long time. :(


Features:
  • 1 New Augment
    • Extreme Caffeine Boost, 5x Movement Speed of Crew <--Pretty much did that just for fun :)
  • 2 New Weapons. Since they're both fire weapons that do no damage, a challenge is that you need to get a missile or something FAST!
    • Fire Beam Mark II, better version of fire beam
    • Area Bomb, Does no hull damage but 2 system damage. also starts fires and breaches
  • New Color Scheme
  • NO FIRE DRONE, DISREGARD SCREENSHOT

So, three defense drones... why? It's not like you'll ever need that many...

And starting with level 5 weapons and level 6 drones... why? Putting a high energy requirement on your weapons isn't really a limiting factor if you give them as many starting tiers as they need to run everything simultaneously.

And mega-augmentations, 5 crew... I know you don't bother trying to balance your ships having seen your other mods, but it must get boring wrecking every ship you fight without any chance of failure, mustn't it?

Generally I'm okay with overpowered ships, so long as they bring something unique to the table. Something that makes you use the ship differently than others. Honestly though, I'd have to agree with Vanguard of Valor on this one. Your mostly just reusing stuff from the Kestrel Type C. What I think would make this mod unique is to try and get some fancy new drones that try and make the player do some fancy drone play.

I used the Fire Drone from DronesPlus, added two new weapons, took off the medi-bots, balanced it a little, and made a new color scheme! :D

I don't understand why you went out of your way to privately ask permission to use DronesPlus and then went ahead and used it anyway before waiting for a response. Please maintain complete separation from my mod and yours and remove any of the content you have misappropriated.

If you want to include a disclaimer that DronesPlus is necessary for use of the mod, and then not include my images but still reference the fire drone in the ship's starting drones tag, that is completely fine.

What is the difference between a stock fire beam (fun) and your mark II fire beam? Shorter charge time? Longer beam length?
