ship increase,Its possible?

Is it possible to increase the total number of game players ships without replacing standard?
If so, how? Not in config-files in dat-folder? Or need to change something in the game engine?

Just like with races, total numbers of ships are hard-coded, So i dought its possible to add more unless you take up the space of the un-used GhostShip model A and B.

You can't have more than 9 in the hangar menu, but you can modify a saved game to use any ship, including enemies' or any custom ones you add.

Sadly, there are just good mods, replacing the standard and standard ships.I am thought that if you change the game engine, making it possible to add other ships, I want to see [MOD][WIP] FTL: Overdrive. and understand how to do it.
