I've tried loading in steam and just downloading straight from the website. It starts loading up for a second and immediately closes. I've updated drivers recently and disabled anti-virus.

Version = 1.03.1

Edit: Also might be worth noting that I only had one log in my crash folder even though I've tried loading several times with the same issue

What display adapter do you have?
How much RAM?
Is it a notebook or desktop?

It sounds like a problem with your display. Unfortunately some computers have trouble running FTL if their display drivers don't have good OpenGL support.

Sorry about the crash. Can you email me a dxdiag dump for you system? My address is zasdarq@ftlgame.com

Updating your drivers should definitely fix that though :)

Driver updates are so inconsistent. For months Windows was convincing me that my drivers were up to date, and fine. Until i suspected that it's been to long without an update and went looking for one using Intels website driver check.

That driver check mostly got things wrong but it did have a driver update for me. It turned out that my drivers were several months out of date despite Win claiming it was checking and updating them.
