Bug: Evade not working

I had invested heavily into engines with a 45% evasion. I don't think my ship dodged a single missile, ever. I should have been dodging about half of them, not zero.
I have had insane luck avoiding missiles with 10% evade. It's a percentage not a guarantee It's possible to dodge 10 missiles in a row with only 5%, just very unlikely. There is an achievement for failing to dodge 9 shots in a row with MAXX engines, it doesn't happen very often but it does happen.
I don't see why you are reporting this as a bug. You had good odds, but still got hit.
