[SOLVED] Mouse seems to lag.

I have the following setup.
HP ProBook 4530s
Windows 7 Professional
Intel I3-2350m
4.00GB of RAM
When I run the game in any mode or configuration my attached mouse (Logitech G500) seems to have a somewhat laggy cursor.
I run the laptop on "Performance Mode" and still nothing.
Anyone have any recommendations?

Try to enable V-Sync for your graphics card.

Hi Andrew. Can you check for updated video drivers? That will usually fix the problem for people.
If you've already tried the most up to date version available from HP, you can try the ones directly offered by Intel on this site:
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/ Sometimes they can prove to be more up to date and helpful.
Sorry about the problem!

How do I do that?

I could be wrong, but I don't think the Intel Graphics Control panel can allow you to force V-Sync on. It can be toggled within the FTL options though.
Video drivers are still the most likely fix however.

I am having this same issue. New Dell XPS 15/Ivy bridge i7/GT640M. Updated my drivers to the latest from Nvidia's site via their driver finder. Tried toggling vsync and fullscreen. Any other suggestions?
Oh, and it's not just cursor lag, framerate in the game is insanely low.

It's possible that you should use Dell's OEM drivers, check their website for support. You can try manufacturer or OEM drivers, but don't trust any unofficial drivers because there's a lot of malware out there.

Well, it doesn't make a lot of sense to me, but here's what fixed it for me..
So I tried to get into Nvidias control panel and got an error that said something to the effect of "You can't open the control panel because you do not have a display attached to an Nvidia GPU"
I wanted to try forcing it to use integrated or discrete graphics (whichever it wasn't using to play FTL)
Well I went to control panel and uninstalled all the Nvidia drivers, and restarted when prompted. Looked back in the control panel after the restart and all the drivers I installed are back. Tried FTL and it works fine. Same version of drivers and all..
Still can't get the damn Nvidia control panel to open up though. From what I can tell this has something to do with intel and nvidia drivers not getting along... well I got FTL working, I think I'll just sit and wait for newer drivers to come out instead of messing further.
-Man after playing this with the lag for a few hours the working game seems INSANELY fast paced. Gotta get used to not being able to walk away while my guns are recharging..

I'm glad you are able to play the game. Solutions to such problems often make no sense.
Intel and Nvidia drivers should get along fine, there should be no conflicts since only one display adapter can be working at the same time. It sometimes depends on the motherboard and BIOS settings switching the adapters properly. Windows or the drivers themselves may end up complaining but in my experience it's enough just to ignore or disable notifications from drivers that have no adapter to use.
Happy FTL-ing.
