no Steam sync?

hello.
i played some time on my brother's PC and got some unlocks and achievements, then i wanted to play back on my own PC, but now I don't have any of them
and i wonder, why doesn't the game achievements been showed on Steam?

Came here specifically to ask this. I am currently playing on 3 different computers (work, home PC and laptop.)
Was pretty bummed to get to work and see my weekend progress was not available. Yet there seems to be something syncing up in the Steam Cloud. (didn't play anything else and I had to wait for the cloud to sync before shutdown.)
Bummed!

The achievements in the game are not Steam achievements. (If I recall correctly, the devs had some issues making that work, and had to drop it.)
I think the file that contains your ships, achievements, and high scores (prof.sav) should be synched to the Steam cloud.

so what is syncing, if the profile isn't?

Could be checking for game updates or syncing things like your time played and such.
