Bug? Door "health" does not reset after jumping?

I ran into a strange problem in a recent game. I was playing the Noether (Zoltan B) and got boarded by 2 enemy crew (was in a nebula so i couldn't see what race they were). They beamed into the door control room, but they didn't stay there because i immediatly vented the entire ship except engines, helm, shields and weapons. Doors were MAX-ed so the enemy had to try and bash the doors to the engine room to avoid suffocating. They died trying.
Having disposed of the enemy ship i jumped to the next beacon and encountered another "enemy ship + boarders somehow managed to get past the Zoltan supershield" event. Well i would say whatever since my ship was still mostly airless, but instead i was scrambling to save my crew because this time two Mantis burst into the engine room after spending less than a second bashing the door down.
I have not closed/reopened the doors so i assume the doors were still damaged from the previous bashing. Why did i not close/reopen? Well my bird was not damaged, no crew injured and the next beacon was a solar flare, so it was in my interest to leave the ship airless.
In the end the Mantis suffocated trying to bash the O2 door down since that's where my engineer went to hide. 
Door health should reset when jumping, unless the ship is in danger or intruders are present when you initiate the jump.
