Something is wrong with the server or something, I rejoined and I was dead, and now everytime I try to spawn I end up in the middle of nowhere, with nothing around and I just suffocate

Confirmed - Starting station is destroyed.
I have no Idea how that can happen
But Good news - The Ghost is in the starting sector - so if you login now - I can pick you up.

The station destroyed it self - I suppose some joker took the station plasma cannon - targeted the station and left it on auto fire.
Guess we'll need a quick patch

Some more clarity:
You basically start off with at ship full of crapy systems that will break on uninstall.
To get a new ship you need to have quite some money to buy the new hull,
but it comes with only a piloting system installed.
All the other systems you need to have with you. to install them on the new hull.
So first you need to replace your crappy systems with those that you can later uninstall.
(or you can just gather the new systems and carry them in the cargo hold)
