I was looking at
this picture, and I noticed something different about the external doors.
Are you talking about how they don't have a tiny bit of white shining through anymore? That always bugged me.
Also, jeez that's a lot of AirLocks on the Lanius ship!!!!
No, that isn't what I was talking about, but I am glad that is gone.
I edited the picture to show what I was talking about.

You may need to edit in some arrows or words, because I don't see anything

The
words from my original post was
external doors. To be more specific, look to the sides of the doors. The external part no longer creates a wall.
Although, now that I look at the door graphics from my resources, any modder could probably have removed that already.

Honestly I see walls sticking out still...
And yeah any modder could have removed that. One thing I did that I think looks better is to have the wall gradually tapper off and "curve" inwards, kind of, from both sides. That makes the doors not look out of place on any enemy ships because the wall connects to the other walls without creating any jagged edges.

So you're not talking about the doors at all but the walls? The doors look exactly the same as the current doors do to me.
Looks to me like they intended more doors than they have put on the ship, and then when they removed those doors they never redid the floor image.

I know I don't brows General Discussion as often as I do the mod forums, so I'm posting it here too:
A 22 minute interview with the FTL devs! It's from GDC this year so
I expect we might find more.

An anti-Drone drone, an Aug that halves the chance that missile weapons take a missile, one that heals crew fully upon teleport, etc. +Awesome looking type c ships.

We apparently know the release date now: April 3rd! -
http://www.ftlgame.com/?p=688
I don't know if it is worth it to try and release my Crystal Cruiser*, Resonance, before then. I haven't tested it yet, and I still need to mess with some event-related things since I decided to have it be more than a simple ship mod. Still, I'll try and get it out before April, even if AE might end up breaking it right away.

Yes, this thing has purple ion crystals due to some things I may have noticed in the Captain's Edition thread.

here.

Off topic, but the ship still looks great. Nice organic layout. And I like what you did with the room images.

Whelp, looks like it's possible to upgrade systems via events in AE! (or the reactor, at the very least)
