Whenever I install this mod, FTL crashes with a XMl error.

Don't use it. See the post just above yours. Mod is not updated and incompatible with current (AE) versions of the game.

For anyone wanting to use this mod I thought I would let you know that there is another mod that does the same thing. Look up sMPK or the SM Polish Kit Mod. Part of it is a module that increases the max level of all systems, except for the ones from AE because they just don't work the same as the older ones.

Anyway, that mod was recently updated so it should work fine. The mod author is temporarily unable to update the mod for a while, but plans to in the near future.

How did you change the upgrade values, I was under the assumption that was in the hard code.
