Kart maybe you should Quote your reply about the ETA for the update on the OP? That way people can see it right away and stop bugging ya about it :)

Cool-I'll however long it takes, I'm just happy to get a rough estimate. I'll have to send you my new ships I've made for the game!

*edit: I meant to say "I'll wait however long it takes"

A small update; the project is coming along nicely, and I've made some significant progress over the weekend. That said, I still have no idea how much longer it'll take, but one thing I can assure you about is that it's going to be May

Here's an image of how the editor looks currently (not that much different, honestly)

And here's a link to the Github repo, if anyone's interested in that -- I've reorganised the repository to be Maven-compilable, however the build process is currently only partially successful -- all jars are using the same distribution of SWT -- hopefully I'll be able to figure that out soon.

That's looking pretty nice-pretty smooth. Can't wait to see the updated version, that way I can replace the stinking Vortex with a ship I've made. Stupid vortex *grumbles...

I'm not joking here, I am literally jumping up and down on my chair, waiting for this to come out! Once it's out, I can finally begin to make ships again for ftl. Who knows, I might even post them up. Seriously though, great job so far!

I made 31 ship hulls with gibs, stealth, and some got room images while waiting for Superluminal 2.
Mostly nearly all of my overhaul ships and stuff and will make some enemy ships.

Right now, the editor is more or less functional... I have already updated my AutoCruiser mod to work with AE using it (encased piloting included), though I haven't uploaded that yet.

That said, there's still a host of features missing; namely, editing of gibs, crew, ship offset, glow images' positioning (that's kind of a long shot tho), artillery system's weapon attribute, the entire undo system, and a bunch of other stuff I've likely forgotten about.
Though it's mostly a matter of coming up with appropriate UI and implementing it, seeing as all ship-related data is already being loaded/saved.

I suppose I could release the first/beta version sometime soon, however I wanted to ask a small number of people for some feedback on the UI first.
