Ah, I had a similar idea. And on that note, an illegal Slug / Rebel porn / strip club that's outlawed. You find it, but you can choose to either help one of the slaves escape (It either goes perfectly and you get a random crew, it goes okay and you get a crew but fight a ship, or it goes badly and you fight a boarder and a ship), leave slowly (Nothing) or alert the Federation. This would basically be fighting a really powerful pirate / rebel ship for a bit until the Federation gets there. It'll play the ftl away animation and you get good stuff for arresting them. Or you can kill the crew, rescuing a slave similar to the slaver quests.

All I can picture is an 'exotic dancer' joins your crew, and it turns out to be a Rock. :lol:

Basically a slave-trader-station. Yeah i'm down for that. It would need to be Slug though.

Could you re-word this as '' Release the Mantis " and "kill the mantis". The wording of the event got me confused and i thought there was 1 commando *engi* on board the engi ship.
Also could there be a blue option for recruitment if you have MANTIS STIMS augment.

I would really like to collaborate with you regarding the pirate homeworld sector you mentioned to me. I have a couple ships you could use for events, that already have a usable story. I can also, to whoever reads this, take your mod ships and apply a pirate paint job, if you have one that you think would fit and would like me to do so for you. Also R4V3-0N has some good ideas about pirate types/factions. Let me know what you think.

I had this small idea flowing through my mind a few minutes ago. This could be a random result caused by exploring random asteroid fields.


Basically, a pirate cruiser speeds up on you, having several breaches in it's hull and seemingly not in good condition. It bumps briefly (5 hp lost) with your airlock and soon after you realize you've been boarded- Literally.
