GOG.com informed me that the patch should be available for them. Since it's still pretty early in the day on the west coast of the US, I expect it will be a little longer still for the HumbleStore website builds to be available.

Damn, you are correct, the binaries have not changed. Weird, I could swear the md5sum was different (and that I had clicked on the correct platform! ). I'm going to edit my post above to reduce confusion.

Oookay. The GoG update just said: "installed version is not compatible with the patch". Might try reinstalling the game after I backup my .savs.
Edit: Just remembered - I play with the no-rebel-fleet mod. That might've affected the patch attempt. I'll go notify the mod makers in the other thread or just man up and remove the mod.
