Just wanted to chime in and say those are some excellent ships. You would not think a Battle Cruiser with both Cloaking and Artillery could be fragile. You'd be wrong. Fun ships.

Time to showcase my own mod,
The Enforcer! Yeah, beaming Zoltans onto an enemy ship seems like a great idea...

Re: Kestrel
Arrr, if ye be needin' missiles, eight be a good deal. Especially in early sectors where ye don't get much more scrap fer destroyin' the ship.

Oops! I missed this reply the first time. I've updated the link here and on the first post. Thanks!

8 is 8 too many to need, and about 8 too few to have if you actually do need them. The only good missile is a sold missile.
And for the rest of you, see what he's talking about by watching my
Kestrel Redemption Run, I promise it'll have an interesting ending

Yer prejudice be showin'. As long as ye refuse the low-missile offers to get a little more scrap fer upgradin' yer shields an' such, acceptin' surrenders be a good way to accumulate missiles (unless ye be sailin' in a Bulwark - then there's never enough). And don't be fergettin' that a missile could be a bomb if ye can get those weapons. Aye, an Ion Bomb be worth it's weight in scrap.

...unless you used all those missiles on a crappy Artemis.

Re: AutoCruiser Take Two
Saren was doomed from the start.

I don't think I've ever seen you wait for your O2% to go back up between jumps, and you jumped, fought, jumped again, then started another battle. No starting Medbay = Saren doomed.

Yeah poor guy. I still wonder how differently this run'd gone if I'd picked up an Engi instead of a Mantis. He'd have fixed the o2 faster, that's for sure.

Doesn't matter if the O2 is fixed if you don't power it. Maybe an Engi/Zoltan hybrid would do the trick.
