Did you remove the Engi ships flying up to you and giving you 98-130 scrap apiece? I once got 7 of those encounters in one run. :p

That's why I stick around Engi-controlled sectors over all others. Less combat, more Scrap. Sure I'll accept your surrender good sir.Braxbro wrote:Did you remove the Engi ships flying up to you and giving you 98-130 scrap apiece? I once got 7 of those encounters in one run. :p
Eh, I am not keen on surrenders. Usually, you get more scrap off their dead corpses. I only accept surrender ifstylesrj wrote:That's why I stick around Engi-controlled sectors over all others. I'm talking about that Engi ship that pops up and says "Uh-oh! Pirates! Please don't hurt us! We surrender!"Braxbro wrote: Eh, I am not keen on surrenders. Usually, you get more scrap off their dead corpses. I only accept surrender if
Meh, I got my hands on a campaign mod that allows me to attack them if I don't like their resource transfer... so I wind up leaving half-broken Engi ships in my wake every run.stylesrj wrote:I'm talking about that Engi ship that pops up and says "Uh-oh! Essentially it's free scrap if you don't tell them of your good intentions.
100% chance for a decent reward (if you accept their offer) or a 50% chance for a decent reward (which may or may not be slightly higher)
Yep, those changes are related to player artillery, which is still made available with the vanilla loadout addon.meklozz wrote:Sleeper Service, are you aware that Vanilla Player Loadouts fail to revert some (or rather all, I assume) of the room/door changes? In particular, possibly not limited to, airlocks on Red-Tail, a room north of the weapons on the Vortex, an additional airlock room on Simo-H.
Yep, it's pretty garbage in combat, although it gets a economy boost when making proper use of quarantine sectors. It's very much designed to be played as a medevac.meklozz wrote: Also, just by the way, is the (CE) Torus designed to be terrible?
