And also where are you putting the mod?
After I update the mod, there is no more issue. It seems the one 1.061 is buggy. I used the 1.062f and it work flawlessly.

A question though, is there any list for the new weapon, drone, missile or anything that is not vanilla ? I looked at each of stand alone mod (like balanced arsenal) and there is no information about it. Even though I like to discover it myself in game, a compilation list of new weapon, missile, drone, new sector, trade item value in different event, etc would be nice. It help me/us to make a better decission in play :)

No sadly, there are some people thinking to make a FTL Captains Edition wiki (yes a mod so big that it even will have a wikia for it) but that's about it.

You can go copy the captains edition. ftl and then move it somewhere else, rename to zip, extract it, and then look at all the weapons and drone images, they don't say what they do but you can get some ideas eg "Anti Bio beam II" or "Effector I drone" etc.

don't do the above if you don't know how to navigate with folders/files and stuff.

Ok, I had found it at ..\data\blueprints.xml.append all of the mod added content. It is easy to read but there is a lot of information to process. Will try to made a compilation list for it in my spare time :)

Come on guys! Wikia is a great idea! I can't think of anything I can do prsonally though... except for encouraging people. :D

Yea, ironicly some weapons are actually more better then the one the Rebel Flagship has :lol:

I made a spreadsheet file for gathering all Captain's Edition data to be easier develop into wiki. I gather it all from blueprints.xml

Just made it for beam, missile, mine, and ion. Do I missing something ? I just played this mod for about one week, and i really doubt that i have seen all the weapon.

If you gonna include the vanilla weapons in your beam list can you at least bring up the mini beam and pike beam? =P

I actually think that some weapons are kinda underpowered... specifically the pernarch beam.
it is double the power of the mini beam but the mini beam unlike the pernarch (which can only hit 1 room) the mini can hit a max of 5 rooms = 5 damage, 3-4 is average depending on target.

So.... 5 damage vs 1 damage for double energy.

Personally, I detest Wikia. It's an ad-ridden hellhole of a wiki and information tends to be too subjective to personal opinion or bias. I think it'd be a much better idea to keep this updated instead.

Fair enough, but it should be spammed in the first paragraph that this is a mod that has continues changes and updates.

Anywho, I say we hold of on a detailed page for now because look at it this way, this mod gets updated sometimes every day! go watch some captains edition videos, you see room late outs and augments on some ships that were not like that before, eg a zoltan station with a engine (to be lore friendly with the zoltan shield, which was also taken away for that anti ion augment)

You don't really need a wiki. Just opening up the blueprints.xml in notepad (and at least for me, copying it out to microsoft word so the formatting's legible,) gives you a list of all the added and modified weapons, augments, and drones with all their stats listed out. And you can also try going through the event lists to find out when augments can be used, though personally I feel that's way more spoilery than looking at equipment.
