Upon Quintet telling the crew to surround the airlock due to an unexpected arrival, Arkangel immediately morphed with the ceiling. He himself had a few scaratches and bruises, but was still in a workable shape. He waited, and suddenly realized that he might be the only one who didn't't sustain any long term damage. Nonetheless, he stayed one with the ceiling.

I don't think Derkus (who I presume is in the escape pod) and Targon will get along very well. Both need scrap to survive

I could see this happening:
Targon: where did my drone go?
Derkus: *poker face*

A few jumps later

Tabitha: Where did my replicator go?
Derkus: *poker face*

A few jumps later

Quintet: Where did my mainframe go?
Derkus: *poker face*

((Followed by:
Kr: Where did our chef go?
Derkus: *poker face*))

Tabitha remained in the medbay, but she held her blaster rifle close - the weapon still carried a decent charge and was intact enough for a fight if it came to it. Although she was concerned about the medical isolation pod and how it contained the destroyed, dismembered body of the android Steve. Maybe the Rebels are tracking him. But didn't Quintet say he disabled all tracking devices in that machine?

Arkangel: Where did the metal-rich asteroids go?

Targon body was arms were feeling fine, but his legs refused to co-operate. He could barely crawl around on the floor. "Sorry Quintet, I can't get up. Gotta let the ol' legs heal up." He struggled into an upright position, then slid back onto the floor. "I do, however, want Data's chip card back if possible. Please."

Targon: Hey, where did my Hyplus X Programmer go? And where's Data's chip card!?
Derkus: munch mu- *poker face*

Everyone: Where did the ship go?
Derkus: Pokerface

"Well I can at least stand up, so I'll head over there." Kr grabbed a blaster on the way in case it came to ranged combat. He arrived in the airlock and there appeared to be no one there. "Am I the only one who's not mortally wounded?"

"That will be a no. If you have any complaints, stand up and jump up and down. Now then, he should enter the airlock any minute now. It's quite a handful to capture an escape pod in the side of a ship through a tiny door, so give me a moment."
Quintet wheeled his drone into the airlock, glancing at the one crew member standing outside the airlock. He stopped the drone for a moment and looked him up and down. He said something through the drone's speakers.
"I'm tiny, aren't I..? Hm. Never thought about that. Actually, are you massive and I'm just normal size? I can never really tell. I'm actually going to go get the heights for this drone.. A yard. Great! That tells me nothing.. wonder if I can scan your height.."
Quintet rambled on about the size of the drone as he directed the ship towards the capsule.

"Well, I didn't. I was very tempted, however. Now, about the medbay, we can't exactly get it upgraded right now. Just stay wherever you are in the medbay and let it be. You'll be back in good shape in due time."
Quintet looked over his cameras, thinking about his situation. It was grim, but everyone who needed to be healing was in the medbay, so they would heal soon enough. He was nearly captured in a few instances, but at least he walked away, albeit in a shape too close to crashing and becoming inoperable for comfort. Suddenly, a few signals came his way from a loose escape pod. It seemed that an unconscious lanius was alive but in a malfunctioning pod due to some of the components being removed by an unknown source. A check in the fizzling camera showed that the lanius was eating away at the escape pod's components.

"Okay.. I need everyone in a fairly workable shape to surround the airlock. I'm picking up an escape pod with an unconscious lanius inside, and I have no signals of his mental or physical state. Bring your guns. Loaded. Preferably, drawn. I'll be in the airlock with a repair drone."

(Hopefully you're okay with this introduction.)
im good with that

((Take shallow breaths and only open up the absorbers in combat? I wrote a fanfic with a Lanius character who did that.))

Tabitha looked at Targon "It's probably the bloodloss starving my brain out but why do other Mantis treat you like an abomination?" she asked.
"I mean when a Mantis looks at someone like me, they call me a foolish meatsack but you... they seem to have a mixture of fear and anger..." she continued "When I was a child, I read a documentary about a thing that Humans used to do to each other just because they had a different skin colour, or they were the children of such people."
"Is that the same thing happening in most Mantis society and cultures? Because I've been blue, red and green Mantis get along in the same hive and can even work together as a team... what makes you different besides the depth perception?"

She coughed "Sorry... I'm rambling aren't I?"
