The mod works fine, the problem is on your end. I recommend you read through the troubleshooting section at the beginning of this thread or at least provide some details on what kind of problems you encountered.

Well that was rude... Could you be more unspecific?

I'm sorry you're upset, but without any details no one can really fix your problem. Try using just base CE and the Texture pack and see if that works?
Again Sorry, but there are no more details, it just crashes upon loading, no crash log, nothing.

Alright, so I was in a nebula, doing my pirate thing of stealing and looting with my license. I wanted to seize the supplies of a cargo ship in the nebula and they refused to generously hand them over for my cause.

Anyway, the problem was that I couldn't use my Subspace Scanner to probe the nebula, only to just stop them from cloaking (and since they didn't have a cloaking device, would have been a waste of power).

Also, what is up with those particle clouds in Industrial sectors that take your engines to half on entry, but it turns out to be an empty beacon to socialise with the crew? Will it trip me up at some point and have a fight or was there meant to be something dangerous there?

EDIT: I'd hate to bring up 152 turrets store again, but I was attacked by a pirate ship this time! And since I had my subspace scanner, I had no other choice but to use it and waste 1 power as it was my only option to proceed ahead.
Also, if I am to be attacked by a pirate ship there, shouldn't those turrets be firing at me/them as well?

The homeworld is only a few bacons away!

I'm not sure if that typo should be left in or removed, because that is hilarious!

There's a few more issues in that one:

Thats -> That's

home world -> homeworld (Chrome fails to recognize it, but 'homeworld' appears far more frequently in science fiction and stuff)

It is probably Endless Loot like stylesrj said, try to load the mods without that and see if it works. If it does than do what the Troubleshooting section says to get EL to work. If it still doesn't work, then I'm afraid I can't help there.

I have one question about Fire Focus Beam. Why it has such a long line of attack (the short line in the picture)? Does it attack effectively in every toched room? (I'm asking because time of attack is like in every focus beam very short).

The fire chance is rolled for each tile it hits, not per room. So its in your interest to hit as many room tiles as possible. If you want to start a fire in certain room its best to try hitting as many tiles in that particular room. The time of attack or how fast the beam swipes does not affect the fire chance.

Ok, thanks for explaining. I always thought that only rooms are counted, not tiles ;) . So it's not any kind of bug that it can aim more than one tile in one step? I thought that all focus beams are only 1px long.

Just wondering:

I did the Slug Homeworld quest in my Zoltan cruiser and I picked up Slug Repair Gel. So now I'm a very diplomatic, peace-loving, truce-breaking, thieving low-life pirate!

With a fancy shield! I know I can't attack a trader, then negotiate their surrender with my Zoltan diplomacy (or can I?) but was that intentional? Because the Rock quest doesn't give me plating, Mantis Quest doesn't give me the Pheromones, because they'll turn you into a pirate and those ships have to be unique but Slug Repair Gel? That's pirate stuff.

I guess no one really does want to go into Slug territory for very long to test this sort of thing out :D
