Just try your current CE Infinite build with nothing of the sM attached to see if that eliminates the problem.

My current CEi build works as it should, I've been playing it for awhile. It doesn't exhibit any graphical glitches aside from the occasional white background from lack of BB 1.3 (I use 1.2 since 1.3 won't work on my laptop).

I'll have a play around with the mod order and edit with some observations.

Working mod order I play with normally:

Code: Select all

- BB 1.2
- CE resources 1.245
- CE 1.245
- CE BB patch
- CEi 1.245
- CE music 1.243
- two ship mods (leaving these out for testing)
Testiiiiing
+ Alpha = no visible change aside from the icons on the title screen appearing, no weapon changes, CE loading screen
+ Alpha, CE patch; - CEi = graphics are glitching, vanilla ship load-outs without a vanilla ship patch, weapons are sM edited, sM loading screen

- Hrn...trying CE, BB, CE's BB patch, CE's resources and sM = CE loading screen, title icons, no other visible changes

Okay, so the patch is required in order to make sM work with CE, but it also triggers the graphical glitch...I am confused.


EDIT: Ha! Okay I have some fixes. I went through and deleted all the crewblueprints out of the patch, and they aren't glitching anymore! Though the Lanius aren't exactly centred with their glow at the moment, and I am not sure why...gunna try it with Infinite after I go through the CEi patch.

EDIT 2: Went through all of sM and deleted all crewBlueprints and related images, since they seem to be causing me issues. Sorta relying on CE to have those. Trying out a loadout now...here's hoping it works...

I thiiiiiink it's working! I added on the sMPK player ships, and by the look of things, it's all working. You have no idea how excited I am *bounces*

Well, that's really strange.. I'm glad you got it functioning, though! It's still confusing as to why the crew blueprints/graphics are what's causing the issue. It could possibly be something to do with either the laptop you're playing on, or.. well I honestly don't even know now. The CE custom crew graphics? It doesn't make any sense, though.

I think something was trying to grab the images for the crew from more than one place, resulting in the crew glitch. I have no idea what was causing the issue with the floors though XD So far everything is running smoothly! (Although I haven't gotten beyond Sector 1 Deep Space because apparently the Lanius B is terrible at surviving when everything you run into has missiles and/or a clone/med bay....)

It's probably not the cause, but I will state that the Concept file ticked there is no longer needed at all (as it was an earlier-in-development version of the expansion), so you can safely delete that from your mod list. When all else seems to make no sense, sometimes it's best to simply clean out the entire mod folder (or move it elsewhere) and download everything from scratch.

I disabled a lot of mods. But work only if I disable sMPK Insurrection. But what I need to make, if I want play with this mod?

Ah, found the issue with the floors again. It's definitely something in the weapons modules that's causing it, though I can only find one image-related thing and it's nothing to do with the text...is there anything in them that edits images aside from weapons? And are any of the weapons duplicated from the base mod?

As far as memory serves, the only thing that comes to mind in terms of graphics that are part of the AWM that aren't of weapons themselves would be the main menu buttons, which are altered to give a visual indication that the module has been turned on in the first place.

Hrm. I don't know why they're turning off all the font and the hull images then...it doesn't make sense.
