I'm having an issue with Infinite + Endless Loot. I'm stuck in one sector and whenever I try to jump to the next one, whether it be same difficulty or higher, the game crashes, with no error message or anything. The game itself seems to run fine, and I can jump to the exit beacon with no problem, but then when I try to jump again, it crashes. Is there any way this can be fixed? I'm not really willing to have several hours of grinding going to waste right now.

Also, is there a way to start up the game without having to start up the Mod Manager every time and having to repatch the game every time?

You don't have to repatch game every time you start it. If your mod patching isn't persistent, it means that something is very wrong on your system's side (permissions? Some windoze/appledoze automatic rollback of files?), and it could be reason for your other problems, as well.

Otherwise, please read the troubleshooting section at first post, and if it doesn't help you, post again with proper troubleshooting info provided (also written in first post).

Cheers,

I've tried to start FTL through Steam after patching, but it crashes after loading. Starting up the mod manager, selecting the patches and clicking Patch seems like the only way I can play the modded game right now. As for the crashing while jumping, the only thing I can provide is a screenshot of the beacon I'm trying to jump to, which is the exit beacon, what beacon it then directs me to, I have no idea since that's when the game crashes.

The game has been running perfectly until now, so I have no idea what's going on.

Its hard to tell which event causes the problem, although the exit list seems to work fine in general. A simple workaround for oyu would be to jump to another beacon and let the fleet take over the exit. That will override the event that causes the problem for you and allows you to continue your run.

There seem to be plenty of steam users that can start the game with CE installed. Not sure what is wrong there in you build. Maybe post your mod load order?

Just tried letting the fleet take over the exit, but sadly it still crashed, selecting either option does work and the jumping animation starts, but when my ship disappears and it starts loading the new beacon, it crashes. Perhaps I should post what the crash log says? The stack traces?

Here's a screenshot of my mod order, I'm pretty sure it's correct since I double checked the order before I ever installed CE in the first place, but just for precaution:

Wow that is odd. Load order looks fine of course. I'm really not sure what is wrong there. Although the fact that you patch in alle the mods anew when starting the game might have something to do with it, I don't know. You could still try to re-download the different mod components and see if that does something. The exit beacon fleet event definitely works as far as I can tell.

I tried to start through Steam the first time I modded the game, and it crashed after loading, so I don't know what's going on. As for the fleet event, it does work, and I can select the options with no problem, as seen here:

But it's here where the game crashes:

I'm assuming I'm going to have to restart my run since I can't continue at all from here.

EDIT: I just started the game from the FTLGame.exe file, not through Steam or the Mod Manager itself, and it's working, but the game still crashes from the sector jump.

Hm there seems to be a problem in the next sector then. Do you know which sector level you are currently at?

I haven't clicked the second option once, so I'm at level 1. But the crash also happens when I go to the next level, I tried it once to see if it'd work, but nope.
