Hey man. I LOVE the new artillery options. Now I have a reason to grind through the game once again. :D
However I noticed a little bug with the red tail, the doors on the small room right before the helm dont show the opening animation when you click them - its still possiblr to open them but there is no visual indication. (the only way to get the animation playing is by opening ALL doors twice)
Im pretty sure this is relate to the artillery beam beeing placed in that room. So it is quite possible that there are more ships affected by this.

I also had adaptive gels suits, incase that could have caused it. And what I meant was by couldnt jump was that the background of my current beacon was still there and my ship vanished, so I didnt know what was in that beacon. Didnt have any other augments.

I think the Crystal Burst II should be rebalanced - it's a pretty useless weapon at this point. With 3 power for 3 projectiles that only do 1 damage each and pierce only 1 shield, it doesn't present a very useful weapon. It has a high cooldown, too, which makes it worth only selling at this point.

"Where" should be "were". Also, the last two sentences don't seem very coherent. Maybe just, "The plague must be encoding itself into DNA - but the researchers suspect it might be infecting individuals at an even deeper, inconceivable level."

I feel that there should be a blue option where your crystal crew member can recognize an "alien vessel". Doesn't make sense that it would be that way for lanius but not crystal.

Just installed CE 1.221b yesterday, along with BP&B 1.3.1, the BP&B CP, and CE Infinite 1.0. Order is BP&B, CE, BP&B CP, CEI. I have a repeatable, game stopping crash when trying to advance to the second-level sectors.

In my first run-through, I went to deep space ~3 times after clearing the first sector. This all worked fine. On the last sector, I paid the 10 fuel cost, then told it to jump, and it CTDed. Now I am stuck, as I cannot jump to the next sector (CTD every time).

I am running on Linux (Ubuntu 14.04 LTS) 64-bit.

Since this is repeatable I can provide any info needed (including files).

Thats a vanilla weapon, you'll have to talk with the defs about that.


Thanks once more for the various bug reports. Another update is out and most stuff that was reported should be fixed now. There where quite a few balance changes for EL and some stuff about the boss has changed. Combat augs in phase three where very similar to hacking in phase one and did not really contribute to make the boss more interesting with AEs boss sector design and the possibility to jump away more often. So these have been swapped with some pre-AE boss changes that where scraped once AE came out. The boss has a forced AI takeover again, although with no additional borders now. It will activate backup drones once its crew is dead in phase three and also gained some defensive augments. The final fight should become more dynamic this way, and you'll have to think more about what to prioritize and where to deal your damage. At the same time you no longer have to worry about a key systems being disrupted.

CE Update 1.222
- Mantis Minelayer doors and gibs fixed
- Some Lanius ship offsets fixed
- Red-Tail artillery room airlocks fixed
- Fixed a crash related to the Federation/Engi store event
- A few events that can deny you the "Tactical Approach" achievement now telegraph more clearly that they do so
- All internal AP drones have personal shielding now (visual effect only)
- Combat augment blue options display power costs now
- The boss charges weapons slower on easy now (to compensate for the meany meany layout)
- Phase three flagship no longer deploys combat augments
- Phase three flagships life support will fail, forcing a the AI takeover and re-introducing CEs makeshift "fourth phase"
- Phase three flagship will activate internal drones after the AI has taken over
- Phase three flagship is equipped with defensive augments again
- Slightly increased the probability of finding/encountering internal drones
- Some typos fixed

CE Endless Loot 1.222 for CE and CE Endless Loot 1.222 for CE Infinite
- Changes of CE 1.222 imported
- Reworked the way "Shrapnel" and "Shredder" works
- Decreased the effect of prefixes that change fire chance, breach chance and stun chance
- Increased the effect of prefixes that affect drone evade
- Added a cooldown penalty for a few very positive prefixes
- "Piercing" and "Focused" can no longer apply to non-damaging beams
- Speed modifying drone prefixes can now also apply to boarding drones
- Certain defense drone prefixes no longer apply to anti drones
- Some small changes and fixes

Yeah me either. Didn't you say that you moved on anyway? Without more details I can't really trace the error. Virtually any events can happen in contested deep space.

Soo i have n issue using this mod. So i got all the mods for CE and i have the same load order that is shown above but two problems keep popping up. First: The textures for the characters is bugged or glitched in which it shows 2 of the character for 1 sprite. Next, Im using the Advanced Edition that i got from GOG.com (on sale) and when i start a new game it doesnt give me the option to enable the advanced edition content. Could anyone plz help? :|

Looks like you have problems with backups:
1. Reinstall the game
2. Delete all backups from the mod manger's folder
3. Install mods again ;)
