And the AWM CEi patch only does one thing, which is making the weapons appear in Deep Space in the first place. So strange.. anyways, after fixing a screwup in giving Engies unique colours, I've finished up the missing parts of the AWM for Insurrection, which was finishing the weapon lists so that they appear in the correct blue options. And the drone idea I had was also realised, and then used to create a different loadout for the player ships in the mod. Also,the unique player ships for Insurrection were divided into their own submod just like the CE Player Ships submod.

The only real thing that needs to be done now is to ensure that the enemy layouts work properly, and, well, that's it. The core of the mod is essentially complete: it's just a matter of making sure nothing has come loose. And judging by the fact that the Error Checker isn't showing up anything, it should be easy.

Could you cap a screenshot of it? The only weapon graphics glitch I've noticed and fixed in the past days of editing was a heavy charge laser in the CE patch.

This looks like a case of an incorrect Mod Load order, since the Shield Overcharger isn't short named to Shield+ in the sMPK, so this shows that the core mod wasn't installed properly.

Yikes.. I'm always surprised whenever I end up seeing mod order lists this long, since whenever I turn them on, I seemingly never have to turn on more than eight at a time, max. Regardless, I'll say that it's not advisable to run Insurrection alongside Captains Edition. You could in essence call it a super condensed version of it, since a very high percentage of the equipment in Insurrection also appears in CE and the CE patch. So depending on whether you want to run CE or Insurrection, turn off any additions relating to the other. As an example given the list here, I'll briefly outline a working Insurrection build.

The flagship in Insurrection is a more reasonable variant of the one in the Hard Flagship, so that module isn't entirely necessary. Thinking about it now, I need to triple check the Fleet Disabler for compatibility with all variants, CE and otherwise. As a last note, I'll compare running the AWM alongside Endless Loot as an equivalent to putting a drop of high-grade petrol into a fuel tank that's already full. It's not really worth doing, as the sheer volume of EL equipment is such that you would be extremely hard-pressed to see any AWM equipment at all.

Trying to finish this up is proving more demoralising than previously thought.. Ignoring the fact that our home just got attacked by thugs leaving everyone completely shaken up, it's been difficult to get my mind back into working on the mod.

New information from DT regarding how Shield drones work, however, have essentially reduced the number of new drones in Insurrection by one and, rather comically, rendered the alternate shield drones in CE rather pointless. As it turns out, no matter what you set the cooldown to on the drone, it has no effect whatsoever on the speed at which it deploys super shield barriers. What's even more comical though is that the game seems to be completely ignoring any attempt of mine to create alternate graphics for a different drone, so whatever you set its graphics as in the code is completely ignored. How bizarre..

That mod list sounds like it should work just fine. Sadly though, Insurrection doesn't really support being used alongside CE at all.. I'm not sure what would break, but it wouldn't be a pretty sight. Besides, playing CE with the patch would be comparable to what you're looking for, I think.

Still trying to wait on some more feedback before I decide to make it official or not.. circumstances over here have brought development of pretty much everything to a complete standstill. It's a demoralising sight.
