You realize that not fighting back at patent trolls only makes the problem worse?

I'm having a bit of an issue with the EL Texture pack 1.0 . Every time I start the game up , the loading screen freezes and the game itself crashes . The Endless Loot mod seems to be working fine by itself .

You can handle that as you like of course. But the song mentioned in the claim does not even remotely sound like anything that is in the mod or is played at that point in the video. I don't see why some random and obviously wrong copyright claims could be a reason to remove a creative commons licensed music track. The claim does not refer to anything that is in the mod and I can't remove what is not in it.

I recommend you read through the troubleshooting section at the very beginning of this thread. EL actually won't work that well without its textures patched in.

Well, I went out to check it out and found the Routenote site.
The song (earthrise) is indeed on there and it is indeed the one you can hear on my video 38:44 min in(music at store).

The song is for sale which probably means that is not royalty free or free use.
So without written permission from the author (in this case Solaris I assume), the claim is actually legit I'd say.
The site doesn't look fake either.

I don't know about that, but this site also looks valid and "Earthrise" is a completely different track here. The track you linked is indeed the same as "Light In The Darkness", which is used in the music addon. So it might have been renamed to "Earthrise" in the version of the album you linked and might be part of a comercial release there. I don't know. Still, the track I used remains published under creative commons and should therefore not be a problem.

I've tried Reinstalling FTL and allocating the game more space , but the game still crashes . Is there a way to replace the textures of the EL weapons with the standard weapon textures?

Obviously not intended. I'm getting bad gateway errors each time I'm try to post, I guess I give up on the forum for today.
