((I don't think we can do a chill session.
We tried to do that at the station earlier but Quintet blew it up

))

I thought we were just buying stuff there

((I assumed the store would be a spot to hang out and chill and buy stuff while Quintet got into contact with a few people... we'd learn a few things about each other and leave without killing a whole lot of people. Then I assumed the installation of the FTL drive and hiding behind a moon would also be rather not be a stressful chill-out session but nope, drama happened there. When's the personal, trivial drama gonna start, not the actual stuff that matters?

))
Now that everything was being repaired and solved and stuff, etc. Tabitha went back to the helm to prepare the ship for the next jump. "Since we kinda, sorta exploded the spot we were going to rest at, do you think we can get another chance to relax? Because we've been on edge for quite some time now and I think the crew is getting rather tired" she explained to Quintet.
She was unaware of the new person that had joined the ship's crew though.

(Subtle frickin' question! Mrs. Soong. I just bargained her a deal to stay on the ship.)
"Actually," Quintet said, "I have calls to make, so this is a perfect chance for you to take that time. Just don't do anything stupid enough that I have to interfere because the people I will be talking to have done close to my level of destruction. Close enough for me to consider them even slightly worthy. Note the difference, there's quite the gap. But they could easily end a couple solar systems for off-side entertainment while they plot out the most spreadable, deadly biological virus possible that will kills millions in some small corner of the universe and laugh. My stories involve more cons and a few hundred million more deaths. But I save those tales for your inevitable victory party when this is all dealt with. Now then, socialize as you wish while I contact a few murder monsters."
Quintet got to work on the database finding some links to all the people he needed, starting with the one he had the deepest history with. He found a few contacts and the trail bots did the rest.
"Hello again! Yes! Hasn't it been a while. The last time we cooperated was to kill off the Empire! Those were the times, when people were less smart around aliens and therefore hundreds of times easier to kill. I need your help again. After, we can see if we can get a kick out of destroying some final rebellion planets. Yes, the more bloody way. When is the last time we dumped hyper-radioactive FTL drive waste on someone? They'll make a laugh. No? Have you? Good! Good! I was hoping we'd get inside contacts for that."

"So we get some free time now? How long has it been since we started, because I think I'm the only one who's slept since then." Kr turned to Tabitha. "I think it was probably slug mucus since mantis saliva is slightly corrosive. Unless there is some reaction going on with the metal." He picked up one of the plates and looked at it. "It might melt some with the saliva, though that's not a very good adhesive. I donk know about repairs and systems though."

"Maybe. I was thinking it could work sort of how a welder does it except without the fire or sparks to ignite the oxygen" Tabitha suggested to Kr.
She looked towards the mess area "Well we haven't got the best replicators but I think I should get to making do with the equipment we have and whip up a meal that will have your taste buds detaching and remaining around the kitchen in the hopes they can get another sample."
After all, not all of us are wearing socks to get knocked off, she thought to herself. "Oh by the way, you didn't answer my question about the prisoner. Anything happen to him while the ship was in a crisis?"

Kr replied: "He seemed like he was dead. But he also looked like an android so I don't know if he was or not. I put him back in the stasis pod, but his arms are still on the floor."

"An android?" Tabitha asked "Huh..."
She headed for the medbay to check it all out. One of Steve's arms were still lying on the floor, dripping blood-coloured lubricants.
It's a scary thought. The Rebels can make robots look like normal people. Hell, even Targon or Kr could be a robot in disguise, she thought to herself.

Kr followed Tabitha into the medbay while spitting on one of the plates, trying to get it to do something. "Targon hasn't woken up yet. Maybe we should put him on one of the surgical tables." He walked over to Targon and lifted him up to a table and the computer began analyzing Targon. He was fine, but appeared unconscious. "I guess just wait till he gets up?"

"I guess" Tabitha shrugged "While we wait, let's see what I can salvage from our replicators. It won't be like what I made back home but I can try making a gourmet meal using the shipboard ingredients in the replicators."
Military-grade technology. They have no precision. Just sustenance for the common grunt, she thought to herself as she entered the ship's cafeteria, but even the worst, blandest foods can be made into delights with a little application of skill and some seasoning.
The cafeteria consisted of essentially a few benches and tables and a pair of replicators on a wall along with some metal trays and cups. Smirking, Tabitha used her multi-tool to quickly shape a few of the cups into wide pots. "Looks like it'll be soup" she remarked.
