One final chance: An FTL-RP

The door control terminal kept showing messages like "failed" and "access denied" and "error." Kr finally got frustrated enough and started tearing wires from under the terminal and yelling mantis profanities at it. He calmed down eventually and realized the door had to be unlocked now that door control didn't have power. He went back to hacking and had to pull the door open because of the damage. He found Targon passed out on the floor from lack of oxygen. He was starting to feel the effects now that he had exerted himself. He took one of Targon's claws and dragged him to the medbay. Kr noticed the body of the prisoner laying against the wall. It looks like he's an android... He went to examine the body closely and found several wires and metal structures jutting out of the remains of where the arms attached. I better put him back in the stasis chamber Kr picked up the body, finding it heavier than a normal human. Returning the body to the stasis chamber and pushing a medical cabinet in front, he went to oxygen to try and help fix the oxygen permanently. "How's it coming Tabitha?"

Quintet grew angered. He had no control and he would do anything to get it back, but there was nothing he could do. The temporary OS was crumbling. It was practically inactive, but because it was the base system, the communications still operated. He contacted Mrs. Soong.

"So, you came to apologize. What were you thinking? Would you think I would forgive you so you could find Targon again? Don't you realize that I not only do I no longer have any sort of respectful emotion like empathy or forgiveness or happiness or sadness, but you are the very reason why I'm like that? Maybe you should've thought more before you betrayed me. So you have one chance to have me keep you alive, or you're done. Now, why are you so important you need to stay alive? What makes you and Targon so special that I shouldn't kill you - and possibly her, if she gets too angry."

"Because I can help you, or at least Data can." Soong replied. "I'm sorry I ever saluted that stupid Tully. I know inside information about his entire group, where he plans to strike next, his weapons and fleet, everything! It's installed on Data's chip card. Quintet, we need to go now! They'll be here any minute! At least make up your mind in the next beacon."

((Tully Hitler? Ummm, I'm not angered by it. I'm rolling my eyes in annoyance. I mean, really? Really? Admiral Tully is literally Hitler? How about I bring in Admiral Terest of the Rebellion, eh? Josef Terest ))

Tabitha shook her head "I'm going to need more than duct tape to fix the Oxygen system" she said over the comms, just as the AI began using a temporary solution to get the system back working while she repaired it. "Don't want to use my multi-tool though. The welder might set the whole system on fire and drain the last of the oxygen."
She looked to Kr "What's happening with our prisoner anyway? Is he dead? What about the rest of the crew. I'm not getting anyone on the comms."
I've done more repairs than actual cooking since I got here, she thought to herself.

With that she looked at a bunch of nearby metal plates. "Wait... I think I remember reading a recipe for some sort of strong adhesive that could be made from Mantis saliva... or was it Slug mucus? That might help patch the holes in the pipes if applied to metal patches..."
Nearby to Kr however were a bunch of metal clamps that could be put over the holes in the pipe and stop the leaking. Similar to those used on ancient Earth submarines to stop water leaking into the engine room if a pipe burst.

Quintet sighed. He got to work enabling the pilot's station, getting ready to power the jump drive.
"I'm going to hold a deal. You help me for now, I won't kill you when we drop you. You make one wrong move, I kill you on the spot. So if you want to stay with your precious Targon, you stay under my rules and do what I say. Is that clear?"
Quintet got to work rebuilding the OS for the rest of the ship. Soon enough, most of the ship's operations were repaired. He powered a system repair drone and got to work on the physical side of the ship.

(Targon. I would imagine if an A.I. killed your legal guardian, you wouldn't exactly be cheery.)

(Yes, quite so. Targon would be infuriated).

"Clear." Carolyn replied. "I'll keep to your rules and even if I have to I'll stay in an empty room." She hurriedly found Data's dust pile, took the chip from the top of it and ejected to the other ship in a small pod.

I'm afraid I won't be available Monday through Thursday. Possibly Friday also. So Targon will remain unconscious throughout the lack of my presence, and as for Mrs. Soong... I don't know. Her intent is to be dropped off at the next station, so you can just do that if you guys want to. Just make sure Targon keeps Data's chip.

(You cant power the repair drone, they were all destroyed bye the EMP and the FTL drive is not installed)

After hearing the ai saying that the drive was leaking radiation B21 quickly made his way to the madbay, after that was done he started moving to the shield system when suddenly a EMP went through the ship knocking him out. when he woke up the hole ship was disabled and the oxygen was dropping. He decided to go to the oxygen system to fix it, but on the way he noticed that the oxygen was going up again so he decided to check on how installing the FTL drive was going. He grabbed a toxic suit and entered the room, to his suprice the new FTL drive was not installed and the repair drone was destroyed. B21 removed to old drive and started installing the new one.

Just a thought: maybe we could have a 'chill session' which is just us guys chilling out if we arrive at an empty beacon. Arkangel doesn't really know that much about the crew members so this will be a perfect opportunity to catch up. Also B21 is new so he can catch up too.
