Well I just fought a mantis ship that had one of those. Here I am, just taking out two manti boarders, and about to take apart the second boarding wave of a mantis and engi in preparation for my own boarding strike, when that effector goes off.....

@huntlol10: The errors are meaningless. Make sure you observe the load order mentioned in the first post and maybe check the troubleshooting section again. Or ask in the SMM thread for help.

When I try to load the Endless Loot addon, I get the following message in the Slipstream console:
Exception in thread "Thread-6" java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space followed by what looks like file locations. If I am interpreting this correctly, it looks like it says it has run out of space to put EL files. Can someone tell me how to fix this?

Speaking of weapons that shouldn't exist, I ran into an enemy that had what I think was a fire missile of some sort(or so it looked, it was large and orange), that flew sideways, and one-shotted my zoltan crewmember.
Btw I'm running with the non-EL enemies patch... so unless that's broken now, that's a prefixless weapon. Probably shouldn't be any prefixless missiles that do more than 70 crew damage(or more than 60 for that matter, ie any combination of 4 normal/crew damage).
It wasn't even the annoying "stun and burn" zoltan death that I'm seeing way too often now, just a straight up one-shot from full health.

Non-EL enemies patch doesn't work, atleast not for me.

Hull missiles, at least from enemies, fly rotated 90°. It is very silly.

Still with a broken hand here, I can write allright and use a mouse better now but I no longer can play FTL as agidly, so I'm staying away from it until I've recovered completely.
It seems like CE really exploded after TB's video, doesn't it? There seems to be LPs of it left and right now. Good for you, now you've got even more footage, specially from people who don't know what they're doing (which is good because you had none before and they can uncover new bugs).
It's a damn shame that slowy hasn't shown up in such a long time though. I really appreciate his touches (on the mod, that is). Maybe he's been having finals or something, though I have no idea on what he's doing. Here's hoping he comes back when CE is more stable, and hopefully before I've recovered.

Yeah the vids and recent feedback really helped to streamline some features of the mod and allowed to make them more accessible to new players. And there is definitely a lot of small bugs that got fixed cause I just saw it in lets plays.

I like watching Let's Plays because it allows me to "multitask" and do real work while still enjoying the game. It's also kind of interesting to see other people's reactions to things, FTL is great for Lets Plays because each person's journey is different.
I like watching people like VanguardOfValor more though, it sucks because now that I'm so good at the game I get very frustrated when other people make even the smallest mistakes. I haven't seen anyone leave their Medbay powered unnecessarily for a long time, so people are learning.

However, the other day I did see someone buy a Cloning Bay, which clearly says it will replace your Medbay, ...

I also saw somebody let their Engi die from standing in an oxygen less room, despite the Beeping and flashing, and they didn't even realize that they were dead until two jumps later. And then they were surprised that it replaced their Medbay.

For CE everyone ALWAYS tries to do bad things like Betraying people the first time they get the chance to.

Then they learn that karma exists. And it's also funny because some people who don't understand the coding think there is some kind of "crew morale" tracker.
