One final chance: An FTL-RP

"It's your call. If you can get that Rebel bastard to stop shouting like a Charlie Hive Mantis, I'd be much happier" Tabitha said as she got a quick checkup at the medbay.
"Well, looks like I won't be turning into some sort of monster any time soon now" she added, leaving the medbay to take her seat again at the helm. As she was moving however she heard there was some sort of commotion going on outside the ship as another ship came into range and then was hacked, counter hacked and explosions.

Meanwhile in the medbay, Steve was banging on the door of the isolation pod. "I'm not out of this fight yet! The Rebellion is no doubt on their way to destroy you Federation scum right now!" he screamed "But before they do arrive, that blue bitch is going to die!"

"I sincerely doubt that, human. A crewman dying to the rebels would be an insult as well to the rest of us. And that blue (FUN FACT!! Did you know the Spanish word for bug is bicho? Rad!) is our cook. I'm not about to let her die without approving the food first." Kr left the medbay and headed back to his quarters. He shut off the lights and said to the rest of the crew: "I'm going to get some rest while the drive is being fixed. I'm in my quarters dreaming of glorious battles if you need me."

As the lights switched off in the medbay, Steve gave a smug smirk. Just keep spouting out the rhetoric Steve, he thought to himself, It's a stroke of good fortune that one of my captors is her... it's a small galaxy after all.

Quintet shut the communications down for added privacy.
"Better."
Quintet contacted the ship he had pinned. The hail contained multiple viruses, which he used to overtake the ship's internal defense drones, using one to pin the one at the helm to the wall, weapons armed. Quintet used the video feed of the drone to look into Mrs. Soong's terrified face.
"You know, I really didn't need my emotion core back. You can have it back."
He turned the file sent with the message back over to the ship.
"Better. Now then. Why did you take it all for yourself?"

(Whoever introduced Mrs. Soong can speak for her. It'll be better for the plot.)

The repair drone removed one of the panels from which the smoke was comming out, and started to fiddle with the drive.
A few minutes later the communications were shut down, and repair drone lost the link to the on board AI.
This caused the drone to accidently hit several wires tearing them.
After that something exploded in the FTL drive ripping the drone to pieces.
Fortunately the repair drone managed to shut down the drive's main power core before the explosion, so the drive did not go into the unstable phase, and was simply no longer operational.
Also the explosion emmited an EMP wave that disabled all other repair drones on the ship (in case there were any more) and shut down the O2 system.
(The O2 system only needs to be restarted manually, but the crew don't know that yet)
(The drone's actions also removed the threat for living creatures that was in the FTL room, but the crew also don't know this yet)

As the EMP swept across the ship, Steve suddenly found himself falling out of the pod he was in. Huh, I thought they were immune to ionisation but don't look a gift space horse in the mouth, he thought to himself, grabbing a whole bunch of sharp surgical tools from a nearby drawer.
And with that he quickly checked the nearby air ducts. Of course, since air ducts duct air and not people, he couldn't fit in them or use them as a means to sneak about the ship. Instead he hid in the shadows and waited for someone to open the doors into the medbay.

Meanwhile Tabitha felt rather tingly and looked in the mirror to find her hair standing on end as if she had rubbed a balloon against it. She switched her multi-tool to grooming mode and fixed up the errant problem. "Everything OK back there?" she asked, looking to the engine room.

(Quintet used inability to fix things on FTL drive! It's super effective! FTL drive fainted.)

Arkangel felt the EMP blast surge through the ship and saw the low O2 lights blink. Well, my non-lanius crewmembers could be in some trouble. He then recalled Tabitha throwing the POW into a quarantine tank. Hold on, if that was an EMP blast, then the quarantine tank must have shut down too... Well time to tear apart that prisoner. He walked to the door outside the medbay and heard veeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry quiet breathing. And that is why lanius are the best at stealth. Because they don't breathe and make unnecessary sounds.
Arkangel walked in and immediately sent four of his metalloids against the walls, trapping anything in the corners. Steve was likewise, trapped.
"I-It's you... You murdered all my comrades, you metallic freak!" The soldier shrieked.
"Yes, it's me. Did you think that you would slip by unnoticed on this ship? I think not."
"The rebellion will not be intimidated by you and your crew," Steve said. "Everything will be destroyed. The federation is corrupt. You know that, don't you?"
"If the federation is corrupt then the rebellion is rotten," Arkangel replied. "Now, where to put you..."
