The beam sounds rather quiet in-game. But the audio file itself is audible enough.
I tried upping the sound in the sounds.xml.append to 10 but it still seemed very quiet.

You think there's a way to make it louder or is my hearing just bad?

Yeah... Not sure what is wrong either :/ I might be able to change to volume of the actual file itself, not sure how yet though.

I put the volume up to 12. It seems to work fine now.
By the way, I'm about to start a video run. You wanna co-commentate or something?

Not sure if I would be very good at that kind of thing, my youtube channel is mostly just music in the background without commentary. It's good the sound is working, I can update the file in a minute. I also am only like 14 so my voice is not super low yet, but if you think it would be better with me commentating then I can do it though.

I'd say change the main title to get rid of the [WIP] tag. It's already in the "Working Mods" subforum.
