Ok, so I did a video run of the Type B. Didn't rush through the sectors, so it's nearly an hour long.
Rought start... sort of but got overpowered very quickly. Most battles turned into "Sit there and wait for the PDS to wipe them out because I can't get through their shields."
Then again maybe the fact I acquired a Flak I and a BL.II early on had something to do with it as well.
I'll have the video posted once it's done being turned from a 21GB file (thanks FRAPS) to a 1GB file that can then be uploaded to Youtube. So a few hours.

Once you get past the rough start, that Artillery will keep on firing and firing and firing like it's a bunny made of batteries.
I suggested The Riven in the videos. If you want to have a look at the gun itself for how to make a 3-shot PDS burst with a standard cooldown time.

ok eagle class opinion poll: eagle b with 2 dual lasers or leave the ion-laser combo?
both are without artillery. also: how is the eagle c going? Also: eagle a will be nerfed (>:P)
does anyone think I shoukld use the pride flak from the Lanius Eradicators?
