Those federation 'variant' ships? If you could make some of those- gibs and all- that would be AWESOME.

sweet! I Changed my mind, can i join the infinite space 2 project? Also, what type of varient ships do you want, more in this style, or lots of different things?

Yes, you can join!
More in this style would be great, but honestly? Go crazy! Variants of every kind would make Infinite Space much more complex. As long as it doesn't look incredibly out of place in FTL, I'm good with it.

Another quick ship I whipped up:
"Whalers, one of the most hated groups of people in the galaxy. Even after killing space whales was made a crime punishable by death, they continue to do it."
This is a VERY early version, and a lot of work still needs to be done.

Is there a way to add new sector types?
If Yes you could loop a custom sector in wich anything can happen.
Theoreticly it should be possible but I'm no coder xD

yes it is, and that is what infinite space is actually doing, looping a custom "deep space" sector.
