hey!! it's in a rar file,do i need to extract it or anything? soz,new at this.

It doesn't use a table, it uses auto-assembly scripts to overwrite specific opcodes. FTL's memory addresses (like most programs) are different every time you boot the game. However, opcodes do not change between boots, only between versions, hence the need for updates after every patch. In the case of the 35 energy hack I simply replaced the registry value write containing your new energy amount with the hex value 0x23. When you activate the option it runs the opcode, writes 35 to the energy cap registry, and when you de-activate it, it reverts to the original opcode.

Download a program like winrar/7zip and extract the archive, then run the program! Remember to download the correct version for your OS!

I have a table over on the Cheat Engine site, just click on the "Cheat Tables" link from the home page: http://www.cheatengine.org/tables/moreinfo.php?tid=1010

Some of the more useful items are Instant Travel, Fast Weapons, Used Energy and One-Hit-Kill (crew)

You can find it and some forum posts with the google search "FTL Cheat Engine" too.

Excellent job! I completely forgot about using pointers instead of opcodes! I will test this as soon as I can!

A piece of general advice for Win7 users - when using trainers/anything that interferes with other programs, right click>run as administrator.

Trainer works like a charm, thanks a lot.

Rebel Fleet

Rebel Fleet Progress can be accessed using a 1-off static pointer using Cheat Engine:
1) Click on 'Add Address Manually'
2) Check the 'Pointer' checkbox
3) Enter "6b99B4" in the bottom box
4) Enter "80" as the first offset (smaller box between the left and right arrows)
5) Enter something descriptive like "Rebel Fleet Progress" and click 'OK'
6) On the new table value, right-click on the new "Value" (the number in the right column) and select "Show as signed"

The value is a negative number starting at -750 on each map and increasing by 50 each time you jump. It becomes visible about -600 and I think 0 means the whole sector is engulfed. Freeze this value at anything under -750 to keep them at bay. This will not turn back any rebels that have already taken over a beacon so do it before they come into the system.
