Since the repair and the fighting drones are going to be replaced in the course of gameplay, I think 4 slots should be enough. Two weapon slots isn't going to do damage (unless you get ridiculous like I.Blast 2/BL 3/I. Bomb + Glaive XD) later on so you are basically forced to play some form of drone warfare. The Hayabusa B cannot fight against Auto-Scouts (or can it?), so I gave it the means to run away early game. It also has lower drone consumption, so I am leaving it without a Drone Recovery Arm. But that might be too mean, since it only has two weapon slots anyways. What do you think?

The Type-1 Ion+Assault Drone combo is a little strong. Maybe I should replace the Assault with a regular Anti-Ship I. I don't really want to remove Ion Drone, since there's no weaker equivalent in game. Maybe only give it one ion per shot and a slower movement speed, so it's comparable to Engi A's BL2.

I'm having trouble downloading this mod. I have a Mac and I use Grognak's mod loader, but it doesn't work for me. Can you find a way to fix it?

And same with Grognak. Switch to Slipstream Mod Manager.

Yes, switch to Slipstream, also get the insane difficulty mod, otherwise this ship will be so op you do not even need to press a button to win in a battle.

You saying having ships at beacon 1 that make the vanilla Rebel Flagship look like the Slug Interceptor (the one with no doors to O2 or Engine) isn't hard enough?.... good lord!

is there any mod that makes games easier? (it is not because I 'suck' at the game, it's because I like playing as those tiny ships >_> things like Federation Scouts, Zoltan Fighters, Rock Scouts, etc)
