I really like this mod but for some reason it crashes every single time I try to play it.
The only mods I have installed are this one and your three ships and it crashes within a few battles every single time.

The general rule of thumb is, never install more than one ship-mod at a time.
So if you're playing the Hayabusa on Insane Difficulty, don't install the other two ships.

Thanks kartoFlane. yea thats probably the problem... My Tengu mod removes the drone control but my Hayabusa mod needs it.

So, I read "Too hard to play with vanilla-grade ships" and immediately smiled.
I tried this with Kieve's Obsidian Cruiser, which in addition to being a bit stronger than Vanilla Fed Cruiser early game, is pure Eye Candy.
Sector 1- first fight is an Auto-Scout. I immediately smile and say "Wow, that wasn't so bad unlike the mod where you're fighting bos- DID IT JUST FIRE 8 LASERS! HOLY HELL A GATTLING LASER!"
I barely reached sector 3 before dying horribly in a fire.

Holy crap! I managed to buy a Gattling laser! EAT IT, BURST MK3
This is so good its stupid.
EDIT: Certainly insane. Finally beat it. Went down to red HP 4 times during the fight.
During the final battle(s) with the boss, the only weapons systems I bothered using: 2x Glaive Beam (Vanilla)
Advanced Ion drone is very very good. Cloak is necessary. I had a hidden ace up my sleeve from another mod.
