Haha, I've played this mod and FTL for a while now, and I've never even seen or heard of that event. Sounds interesting!

WTF!!!! MY CREW MEMBER JUST GOT KILLED BY SOME QUEST WHERE WE HAD TO FIGHT "GIANT ALIEN SPIDERS!!!", or something like that. IM EMAILING SUBSET TO TELL THEM THAT THEY MUST LOWER THE RARITY OF THIS EVENT OR THE CHANCES OF YOUR CREW DYING, IMMEDIATELY. I must have come across this same quest 4 times in one play through and each time I sent my crew in, THEY FREAKING DIED!
OK, OK, I know it's not exactly the same thing, I'm just in that kind of mood. Don't kill me please.

So just trying out CE for the first time. Installing all the mods and noticing that endless loot is taking a while. Should I be worried or should I just give it half an hour?

Should not last more than a few minutes... if it takes longer, maybe read the hints on the first page concerning java.

Yeah. Endless weapons won't instal at all for me. Can't find the tips you referenced? Is there a common issue for the endless weapons not installing properly?

Probably a Java version issue. Check out the troubleshooting guide at the start of this thread - on a 64b system make sure you have the latest 64b Java version installed. If you have a 32b system, run the mod using the cmd line with the following command:
java -Xms1024M -Xmx1024M -jar modman.jar

There is a blue option for thissssssssssssssssss event... Maybe you have the wrong crew memberssssssssssssssss?

Hey, guys, IDK if I'm just an idiot, but I can't get CE to work. My load order is
When I launch the game, the loading screen space station fills up and then goes to main menu, which is where I crash.
Pressing Retry and Ignore brings the message up again, and Abort exits it. What do I do to fix it guys? I really want to play CE lol

I recommend you read through the troubleshooting section in the first post. Also Endless Loot should be loaded after CE Infinite.
