Unfortunately, Gencool released the Auto-Binary. :D
So making a video run of the Eagle Cruisers will be on the backburner for now :(

I'll see what I can do about flying them but probably not a video run. But I can always bring reports back on how well they performed.

Well I just flew the Golden Eagle. It's above the Shrike Line in terms of power, but I had a lot of fun.

Although maybe it was because I bought a Glaive Beam and a Chain Vulcan early on.
Now if only you had known how to mod in level 16 weapons, I could have used the Glaive, the Vulcan and the two ions to great levels of death-dealing.

Phase 3 of the Flagship was difficult as it really wanted a piece of that Vulcan and only the early sectors sold teleporters, way before I had my Mantis Death Team (including two Robert Smiths!) But I eventually switched the places of the guns and the enemy no longer fired on Weapons. Fancy that!

Honestly, the ship could lose the Pre-Igniter. Make it sort of like the Stealth B in that you gotta hope the enemy doesn't tear you apart before you fire the Halberd.

Did you have enough fun that you didnt make a video run pointing out disadvantages anyway?

Any ship where I can get a sense of progression is a fun ship.
I have a soft spot actually for those ships that can blaze through the first few sectors, but then require more skill and cunning to get through the rest.
Plus the whole "Ion and Beam Combo" means I have to think more tactically.

try using type b for a challenge, but also if you like giving the rebels a taste of their own ASBs.
