However I think the ship is okay as it is. This is probably me still trying to think this isn't a pirate ship or the fact I always sacrafice sensors/ doors to give the ship more omph.

Just ignore me (but do not ignore my stun fire beam idea ;) I am going to go start making that for my mod overhaul...)
It's not a dual laser :(
Did I mistype that somewhere? Because it's definitely a basic laser.
