Drone Control should fix itself automatically on automated ships. Unless it got breached. If your Drone Control System gets breached, then you're out of luck. Unless you get a Repair Bomb. Makes me wounder if when the Ai ships go from place holder to real deal would they be able to have a few ai holograms pop up at the start of the game as most of CE's ai stations got holograms.

They already exist in-game but were removed from being made playable. It's only a matter of just adding them back. You can also change the name to Hologram but in the code they'll still be RACE_GHOSTAnduqwer wrote: How do holograms even work I thought you couldn't make new races or modify them?

I thought i'll give a preview of the type C engi station which is almost done. Originally i divided it into two separate sections and the only way to access the other section was to let a crewmember die and reappear in the clonebay in the other section, but then I reconsidered, because at one moment all your crewmembers could end up in the second section. The other idea was to link some doors manually, but that made crew movement a little glitchy. Right now it looks like this:

and this... could be the new type B. It's pretty much a recouloured version of the type B from CE, but right now i'm not sure if I should replace the old one...

Quite nifty station you got there and a much higher leap in quality then the some of the older works here.
I do have to ask what exactly will the artillery be as it may change quite a lot. I think it should be something along the lines of an ion or heavy laser weapon because the Engi main arsenal consists of some beams, heavy lasers, and ions (as well as drones). I do like the overall layout. However I do wonder about the type B for the station... a few questions if you may...
Question 1: Why do you want it to be a new colour layout instead of the normal type B? I can understand having your own colour schemes and stuff and not trying to limit your creativity, but it's just a curious observation.
Also some colouring errors are present, here's my fix for it.

It helps it have more depth and a lil bit of contrast in the colours instead of having it 100% in 1 colour.
Question 2: I was thinking about the vintage rebel station and I was just thinking it may be more practical if I simply just do a recolour to the old colour scheme instead of make it from scratch. I can easily make a type B and C colour using the "vintage" and "vintage elite" colour schemes.

You're facing Phase 2 of the Flagship with a full crew and a "time limit" as you have no fuel. I don't think there's a Power Surge though and I think the rooms are all connected.
