That's really odd. For some reason it must not be aligning the pictures properly. I am on a pc so I have no way of testing. But, what you could do, is rename the .ftl file into .zip so that you can open it. and then extract the .xml.append of the ships. These files contain the alignment coordinates. You could tweak those numbers and see if it has any effect. Because if it doesn't that would mean that the coordinates aren't being read properly for some reason. but if it does work. Then making a working mac version should be completely possible. It would just require some work and testing.

Hmm.. For some reason, I'm looking at this screen cap and I'm sensing something went horribly wrong with the mod manager of choice. Can you confirm you were using Slipstream Mod Manager and not Grognak's?

This problem occurs when the <mod> tags fail to apply the new offsets to the ship's xml layout files. These tags were introduced in SMM 1.2, so I guess you haven't updated in a while? :P

Either way, redownload SMM and it should work.

I had been using Grognak's. Updated to SMM 1.4, and I get this message when validating:
Detailed Ship Greebles Graphics 0.93.ftl:
-----------------------------------------

~ This mod doesn't append. It clobbers.
Ingame still looks vanilla.

EDIT: but yes, I hadn't been using the updated Grognak's, which explains those funky visuals.

Yeah the validation message does not matter, just start using an up to date mod manger and you should be fine.

@Sleeper: The clobber vs append doesn't matter, but he's still getting vanilla floors.

Yeah cause he was using the current Slipstream release that supports the commands which are used in the mod.

Yes, but vanilla =/= greebled.

Oh ok, so are vanilla floor images showing now? Cause before FRACTUALLYIMPAIREDs problem was related to wrong offsets, not vanilla images showing:

This is on Mac osx using the .93 version of the mod. Help?

Well yeah, but he still wants to use the Greeble Graphics mod, and the fact that vanilla's showing up instead of greebled is a problem.
