That happened to me as well, i think it was with the pilot room, i made it a bit larged-streched, and i applied a custom interior background, but in-game that room appeared dark. I changed the interior image to a usual one and it fixed it.
So my guess is that if u put a custom background interior image, that is not 100% exactly like the default ones, that room will look like that. Dark for some reason.
Or maybe that is not the reason at all, im really not sure since i re-done all my test since that.

I am very interested in this program due to the much more user/newb friendly interface compared to another ship creator out there
However, I have frequently been getting this error
"Error: default resources list not found in the package."
I have done the paths correctly, and when attempting to load a ship the program either doesn't show it at all or closes on me... Any help would be appreciated!

@Revenant721
Already resolved, look
here
@Subzero2 & speedoflight
Is that in-game or in the editor? If it's in the editor, it's just a drawing bug, and if it is in-game, then this probably means that images were not exported correctly - either way, I have encountered both bugs, and I
think I've since fixed them.

I've got this error message popping up all the time:
Error: default resources list not found in the package.
.ftl files also don't work for me, it crashes the game. The errors are probably related. Any help?

I think it happens when u use custom interior graphics, that are not correctly associated with its proper glow graphic. Or most common, the graphics where u can see a control screen (that uses glow as well).
This is an in-game problem, in the editor u see the room as the others. As i said, it only happens when u use custom graphics for the interior of the rooms... or maybe im just modifying in the wrong way that images and the game cant handle em. I really dunno. Anyone knows the exactly parameters on which an interior image and the glow should be saved?? (i dont think they need very specific parameters, just the alpha channel and png format, i didnt do anything more , just to rotate the image...).

Whenever I export and try to use my .ftl file to test, everything is normal until I open up the ship, and then game crashes. I don't know why. My cloak is the stretched picture and my miniship is 221x161. Is that the problem, or is my ship bugged somewhere else?

Yeah I got that problem too. When you export the ship, does it say "Error: default resources list not found in the package"?

Again, to fix the problem with
"Error: default resources list not found in the package", look
here. Download the attached file, unpack it and put it into the folder containing superluminal.jar, that'll fix it.
As for the crashes, I don't know... Just tested it, gave the shield system a custom interior with no associated glow, and the game did not crash. Though in truth, I have completely forgotten glow images, will fix that for the next update.
Maybe you could send me the .ftl package that causes the problem, perhaps I'll be able to find the cause.
@electricz0ltan
I doubt that's the issue, it has to be something else, but without more information I won't be able to pinpoint what.

Hey Kart, I guess I should've asked here, but I created a topic here with an issue I had with the ship editor.

Any help would be appreciated thanks.
