Some friends and I were headed downwards from Singularity station and we found another smaller station.
It didn't have weapons or oxygen.
We were wondering if at some point it would be possible to "claim" stations as a secondary ship like thing. This would allow you to have a home base to leave ships there overnight etc.
So when a station is attacked it fights back right? Well once fleet mechanic stuff is more set up you could register ships as the stations and then it would also shoot whatever shoots the ships.
Just a thought and there are other ways to do this, just thought having your own base would be cool.

You can claim stations, just go to the bridge and in the crew tab there should be a claim button.
Sadly these are related to the server, not the game.
So we wait for jrb to fix the issue.

Just run your own server.(server.exe or server.jar)
And then connect to it via local host or 127.0.0.1 ip
there is no server.exe download. just the jnb download.
There's only 1 download link for the game.
First post of this thread.
Second line.
Click it, you get to itch.io
There's a download button.
Click it, you get the zip.
Unpack it.
Inside you have client and server.
At some point can you make it so you can place systems on your ships in the ship editor, and maybe make it so when you choose a class you can only use as many rooms as the classes are supposed to have.
